All Things Are Possible With God

Matthew 9: 26 “With man, this is impossible, but with God all things are possible”

Demons must flee

Mountains must move

Miracles must happen

There are battles to win

Enemies to overcome

Jesus is on the main line, tell Him what you want.

The blind man said in Matthew 9: 28 “I want to see”.

The leper said in Matthew 8: 2 “If you are willing, you can make me clean”.

The centurion said in Matthew 8: 8 “Just say the Word”

Jairus said in Matthew 9: 18 “Come and put your hand on her and she will live”.

The woman with the issues of blood in Matthew: 20 “If I only touch His cloak, I will be healed”.

These five people said what they wanted.

They believed in His miraculous power and by their faith, all of them were healed.

There is something miraculous about Jesus.

He makes the light to shine even in the darkest places.

Changing the World

All you need to do to Change the World is to do one Random Act of Kindness at a time!

Will you join me in changing the world?

Please make this powerful mantra one of your 2014 New Year Resolutions………

……and watch the world change!

The Prayer of Jabez

And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying:-

“Because I bare him with sorrow”

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying:-

“Oh that you would bless me, indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldst keep me from evil, and that I may not cause pain!”

And God granted him that which he requested……

1 Chronicles 4: 9-10

Jabez’s superiority of honour lay:-

  • In piety towards God, the true source and characteristic of honour.
  • In his pursuit of advancement being in dependence upon God
  • In his complete dependence upon God’s protection
  • In his unshaken confidence in restraining and preventing grace.

The Greatest Man in History – JESUS

Jesus had NO servants         – they called Him MASTER

Jesus had NO degrees          – they called Him TEACHER

Jesus had NO medicines       – they called Him HEALER

Jesus had NO army,               – Kings FEARED Him.

Jesus won NO military battles – He CONQUERED the world.

Jesus committed no crime      – He was CRUCIFIED.

He was buried in a tomb        –  He LIVES today.

He lives, Christ Jesus lives today

Jesus said – “if you deny me before man, I will deny you before my Father in Heaven.” – Matthew 10: 32-33

(From the Book of BIG Prayers)

The Book of Big Prayers

The Bible is the WORD of God; it includes 66 books – 39 in what we call the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament.

Reading your Bible every day will bring you nearer to God and the nearer to God you become the more He will listen to you whenever you pray.

In the Book of BIG Prayers you will discover many scriptures that will greatly enrich your life.

Prayers do not have to be lengthy ones; God is always very happy to receive your prayers, whatever the length, providing you are genuinely sincere in all that you are asking of Him.

Jesus said “Ask and it shall be given unto you” (Matthew 7: 7) – and thus it is, you will soon discover, on many many occasions when you pray.

One of the most powerful prayers in this book is the Prayer of Jabez. Not much is known about Jabez but what we do know is that Jabez was a very honourable man and that his mother called him Jabez because he gave her much pain when he was born.

And Jabez called on God – in prayer – saying:-

“Oh that you would bless me and expand my territory.

And that you will protect me from evil, so that I may not cause pain to anyone”

You will find Jabez’s prayer in 1 Corinthians 4: 10.

And the Bible goes on to say that God granted Jabez’s request.

Jabez’s superiority of honour lay:-

  • In piety towards God, the true source and characteristic of honour
  • In his pursuit of advancement being in dependence upon God
  • In his complete dependence upon God’s protection
  • In his unshaken confidence in restraining and preventing grace

In the Lord’s Prayer – of which I hope you are already familiar – we say ‘Thy will be done’. Not your will, remember, but God’s will!

God is the Father of us all. He is a wonderful parent and looks after each one of us – individually.

However, the saying ‘God looks after those who look after themselves’ is also very true as God can only help us if we are prepared to listen to His inspirational parental guidance. God loves us all equally.

By praying at least once every day – more often if possible – you will soon be able to establish a very deep and personal relationship with God.

Merry Christmas

by M.S.Lowndes

Jesus Christ was born this day
So many years before
He came a servant to the lost
Though he was Lord of Lords

We celebrate this joyous time
Reflecting on His birth
Not born in a mansion, but a stable
As if He had no worth

He came so He could identify
With the human heart of man
And gave His life as a sacrifice
Offering a better plan

A plan that reconciles us back
To our loving Father God
Bringing hope and redemption from
Sins ruling iron rod

For this is the only reason that we
Should celebrate this day
To become focused on anything else
Would take the meaning away

So let’s arise with joy in our hearts
And share it with everyone
The meaning of Christmas will always be
The birth of Jesus – God’s son

HAPPY CHRISTMAS, dear friends all

Please remember the true meaning of Christmas whilst enjoying yourselves and spare a thought for those people who are spending Christmas alone, people who are homeless, people who have no money and no joy in their heart.

Let us send our blessings to everyone who needs our prayers at this very special time of year

God Bless

With many peaceful blessings
