Lord, What I Am Not, Make Me!

From my perspective it seems that many people today – both inside and outside of the church
are much too content and satisfied with themselves.

They are satisfied in being what they are, with no desire whatsoever to be better or do better.

Somebody once said that if you are not getting better mentally, morally and spiritually, you are becoming worse.

You should never stand still – which means that every day you need to say this little prayer which has such a BIG meaning:-

Lord, what I have not, give me.
Lord, what I know not, teach me.
Lord, what I am not, make me.
